At Wilson & Dorset, our design philosophy supports a fluid and open way of living. Doing away with static furniture systems, the Shaggy Bean Bag is one of our most transportive furniture pieces. Snuggle into the softness of the sheepskin and feel your worries fall away. Irresistibly plush and silky to touch, the Shaggy Bean Bag brings you wraparound comfort whenever and wherever you need it. For solo dreamers; a place to pause and reflect and for larger crews create a cluster to maximise your fun.
Wilson & Dorset Sheepskin Bean Bag Chairs are made from premium quality sheepskins grown in New Zealand. Sheepskin has its own naturally occurring dirt and moisture protection system, making it perfect for everyday use in the home. We love working with this quality, natural material. Every sheepskin has its own wonderfully unique texture and tone. As with any natural product, there may be variations between the product viewed online and the one you receive.
Our Shaggy Bean Bags are available in both Extra Long and Short Wool. We have created colourways that come in a range of delicate yet lustrous hues, designed to rest easily within any existing colour palette.
We choose ethically sourced sheepskin and take enormous care to avoid the use of harsh chemicals, keeping our sheepskin as safe and natural as possible. We are continually improving our production methods to save energy, decrease waste and reduce our environmental impact.

Regular vacuuming with a plain suction vacuum cleaner will help to maintain wool fibres. Longer wool rugs benefit from occasional brushing with a wire pet brush (pet slicker pad). Small spills can be sponged off with a damp cloth. Avoid exposure to strong direct sunlight as UV will damage the natural fibres and may fade or discolour dyed sheepskins. Do not store in damp or wet conditions as the natural leather pelt may deteriorate. Never move or lift your sheepskin by the fibre alone, hold onto the pelt too. Follow these few care instructions and you will extend the lasting beauty of our products. For more information please see our Easy Care page.
