Description The Balzac armchair by Matthew Hilton was launched by SCP in 1991. It was SCP’s very first upholstery design. Initially, the design was met with little fanfare, but within a few years its curvaceous looks, modernist sensibility and undoubted comfort had caught the design world’s imagination. It went on to become SCP’s signature piece and bestseller.
Materials Made at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England, using 100% natural and sustainable materials.
- Natural oak feet - Duck and Goose feather cushion (This is a soft cushion filling that requires plumping, alternatives available on request.)
