Lee Kirkbride has worked alongside designers such as Konstantin Grcic, Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate to name just a few, helping to produce designs across all product areas including upholstery, lighting, furniture, textiles and accessories.
After graduating, Kirkbride became an intern at SCP where his skill was quickly recognized and he became a full time member of staff as Product Developer just three months later.
In 2009 he presented director of SCP Sheridan Coakley with his design for Calvo, an elegant one legged side table with a tripod base. The design was developed and produced in 2009 before being launched to critical acclaim in Paris as part of SCP's 2010 Collection. Lee was the first in-house designer at SCP to launch their own product design as part of a collection and his work has since been published in leading design publications globally. Lee is currently working on a variety of different projects at SCP whilst continuing to develop his own design work.
